This is my blog. These are my opinions. Sometimes you may like my writing, sometimes not (it’s the same for me). Sometimes I write things that many others think but hesitate to state. Sometimes I write things that seem obvious. Sometimes I err on the facts.  Sometimes I err in my understanding of the facts. Sometimes I err in my presentation of the facts.  I’m an imperfect human being. The goal here is to try to state the facts clearly and concisely, analyze them with insight and come to reasonable conclusions. In other words, the goal here is to try, with knowledge and insight, to think through the events we all observe and, together, come to a better understanding of them. The ultimate objective, if we sometimes succeed, is to further the cause of justice in an increasingly ill-informed and unjust world.  If you visit and care to comment, please be respectful and honor The Golden Rule. Respect the blog owner, respect other participants, respect yourself, and above all  respect the power of language.  BTW, I’m a recovering former lifelong member of the party formerly known as Democratic, the party that abandoned me and millions of others in May, 2008, when a coup carried out by the party leadership ordained that, despite party members’ clear, fair choice of Hillary Clinton as their nominee, the leadership would install instead–via fraud and thuggery–an ill-qualified community organizer Chicago pol named Barack Obama as their nominee. This is why I will forever refer to those who support BO as “Obamacrats.” For me and millions like me, the Democratic Party no longer exists.

To any who do not read or heed this information, please go away to other blogs where you will find a more appropriate venue for your thoughts. Others, welcome!

Great words on the importance of the rule of law for America:

“At what point, then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reaches us it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad.  If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we must live through all time or die by suicide.

“I hope I am over wary, but if I am not, there is even now something of evil omen amongst us. I mean the increasing disregard for law which pervades the country—the growing disposition to substitute the wild and furious passions in lieu of the sober judgment of courts, and the worse than savage mobs for the executive ministers of justice…

“The answer is simple. Let every American; every lover of liberty; every well-wisher of his posterity, swear by the blood of the revolution never to violate in the least particular the laws of the country, and never to tolerate their violation by others…Let reverence for the laws be breathed by every American…”— Abraham Lincoln
